Founded in 2006 by Cheikh Oumar Tall, a polytechnic engineer, and specialising in major works, Kima Afrique also brings its know-how and expertise to maintenance, energy, industry, water and sanitation. A member of the Dakar Chamber of Commerce and of the United States Chamber of Commerce, Kima Afrique is today one of the region's dynamic, high-performing and competitive companies — a trusted partner for the largest clients on their construction projects (industry, governments, multinationals, local authorities, military engineering and the private sector). Kima Afrique has taken part in business missions to Saudi Arabia, Guinea-Bissau, Ethiopia, Romania, the United States, Germany, Canada, Cape Verde, China, Ghana, Madagascar, Kenya, Morocco, Spain, France, Belgium, Italy and more.

In which sectors is the group most active?

Kima Afrique stands out for the diversity of its services and expertise. It is a contractor specialising in major works, a leading construction player in Senegal and Africa with hundreds of projects to its name. It is also a major player in energy. In solar energy, we work across Africa, with a strong presence in Senegal, Guinea and Mauritania. We worked with Senelec on the 225 kV Ziguinchor–Tambacounda line. We also supply and maintain power generators.
